the event was kind of painful to read (felt like a fanfiction written by a massive top gun/american sniper fan) but I appreciate that they stuck with "disabled war veteran old man" in terms of visual design. it's neat. they could've made him look like simo

You did wonderful with your Simo fic! There's something in it that lessen/remedied (is that the correct term?) my disappointment on finding out Simo had sacrificed himself for his friends' safety..--no joke I literally felt guilty that the man had to die within the arc he was introduced in 😭

As I said in the tags I felt like we should've done more for him orz. The only way to "make up" to him was to max his character.. but the more I leveled him up, the more angst I found--which did not help with the pity I felt for Simo.

Praying that Simo gets an event where we just spoil him with affection.. Pat him on the head and tell him he did a good job surviving that hell.. just smooches and affections all-around
